-Orlando, Florida - Nova Space announced today that it has reached an agreement with the Odyssey Transportation and AeroCarbon Travel company to manufacture key components for the Company’s new spaceships. The vehicle is designed to be able to fly weekly with six passengers per ship. Production is set to begin in 2023.
The Odyssey Transportation and AeroCarbon Travel company has more than 100 years of manufacturing experience in the aviation and aerospace industry and will supply the unique equipment and flight control mechanics. AeroCarbon Travel, known for its expertise in constructing large, complex parts for aerospace and aviation, will produce the fuselage mechanisms and spacecraft wings. The companies were selected following a competitive and thorough vetting process based on their ability to meet Nova Space’s unique design requirements that have safety as their number one priority. Nova Space will continue to be responsible for the overall system architecture, the design authority for all components, and the final assembly, integration, checkout, and acceptance testing of the vehicles.
